Chiropractic Care

Our repetitive daily life activities take a toll on our bodies. From sitting at a desk 8-10 hours a day to carrying a 40 pound toddler around, to running with improper shoes  - we are putting our muscles in a constant state of contraction and compensation that is slowly pulling our spine out of alignment on a daily basis. Chiropractic adjustments can help to undo some of this stress. Chiropractic care can be beneficial for headaches, back and neck pain, sports injuries, arthritis joint pain, muscle fatigue, ear infections, healthy pregnancy, motor vehicle accidents.

Graston Technique

Graston® technique is a therapeutic method for diagnosing and treating disorders of the skeletal muscles and related connective tissues, including ligaments, nerves, tendons, and fascia. The method employs a collection of stainless steel tools of particular size and shape, depending on the area of the body being treated. It’s a patented form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. Graston® technique can be used to treat: Tennis elbow, Golfers elbow, scar tissue, knee pain, achilles tendinitis, foot pain, fibromyalgia,IT band syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, cervical pain/strain, general body aches (back, ankle, wrist).

Kenesio taping

Kinesiology tape is a fantastic treatment option that helps facilitate the body’s natural healing process while also providing stability and support for joints and muscles. Kinesiology tape targets certain receptors in the somatosensory system, alleviating pain and facilitating lymphatic drainage by microscopically lifting your skin. The lifting effect forms convolutions in the skin, which increases interstitial space and allows for a decrease in inflammation of the targeted area. Kinesiology treatments can be benficial for both athletic and active induviduals as well as less athletic and hypotonic induviduals.
